Day lilies in the garden

Next Spring I think I’ll look for more day lilies. They make a lovely display in the garden, especially ones that bloom more than once each year!

If my memory serves me correctly the ones I’ve pictured above are called Candy Stripe and yes, they rebloom about four times each season. I grow them in the boulevard in front of my house.

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

This is my visit to your site for Green Thumb Sunday. I’m new to it, so I hope this is the way it’s done, boosting everyone’s readership. Have a click over to my gardenwiseguy blog if you have a moment. It’s lonely here on the Left Coast, but the subtropical stuff is still in bloom and the palm trees a blowing in the Santa Barbara breezes.

Day Lilies are one of my most favorite flowers. This photo has inspired me: It’s eternal spring where I live (California), so I might plant some soon!
