That is a cute picture…but one of the first things my daughters learned to say was “nasty squirrel!” whenever we saw one trying to get at the bird seed. Squirrels drive me nuts….I threw a football at one once to get it out of my bird feeder and smashed the bird feeder to smithereens.

Fantastic photo! I love it.
We have a lot of squirrels and woodpeckers visiting our back yard and one of the woodpeckers has developed a taste for peanuts. Instead of getting them off the deck, though, he waits until a squirrel grabs one and runs up into a tree with it and then the woodpecker hops over and steals it. It is so funny watching the squirrels reactions. Total disbelief, shock and amazement on their little faces.

A squirrel was on my supposedly “squirrel proof” feeder the other day too! I scared him off. And after thought I should have taken a picture of that! So cool that you did ๐

What an awesome photo of a squirrel trying to get to bird seeds. Those pesky squirrel are ingenious when it comes to cracking a bird feeder. They will not give up until they get to the seeds. But there are a number of squirrel proof feeders that will help you prevent squirrels from getting the bird seeds.
