A trillium with character

Doesn’t it look like this trillium’s trying to get out of the way of the camera lense or like it’s doing it’s best imitation of “Walk like an Egyptian”?

I took this photo on May 1st and the trillium still looks about the same. It will probably bloom sometime next week.

The tulips are still going strong! There’s even more now than there was when I took this photo a week ago:

    Beautiful! The most exciting thing going on in my garden right now for me is the jasmine blooming and the baby cardinal, whose nest is in the jasmine!

    The trilliums grow wild on our mountain side in North Georgia, they are strange because it is like they are trying to hide their bloom.
