Whether you are already an organic gardener or perhaps you are looking to get started I’m sure you’d find it helpful to find out what other organic gardeners are doing and perhaps incorporate some of their tips into your own gardening routine.
I practice organic gardening and my big secret is that I use Alfalfa tea (or compost tea) on all of my plants at least twice during the growing season. It’s like organic miracle grow. Honest. My roses absolutely love it and you guys have seen pictures of my plants, don’t they look happy?

I like to add Alfalfa pellets to the mix when I’m brewing up a batch of compost tea. That way, you get the best of both.

I’ve actually tried the coffee grinds mixture with the soil for the roses and it seems to help. I didn’t see a noticeable difference/change for a while but I believe it helped. My flower pot sometimes smells like coffee though!

This is kind of irrelevant, but what is your favorite soil conditioning fertilizer? I’ve tried Pro-Gro on my vegetable garden, but I don’t know how happy I am with the results. Anyone have suggestions?

I am a big fan of Organic gardening. I am retired now so I have a lot of time on my hands for looking after my garden. I prefer Aquaponics for growing organic foods.
