Strange weather

by Tricia

Wow, the weather switches around here from one day to the next!

On Sunday it was extremely hot and humid. This of course was thanks to the warm weather blowing in, in advance of the remnants of Hurricane Ike. Late in the evening it became quite windy and the rain came – not as much rain as they were predicting luckily.   The wind cooled everything down and so far this week (Mon, Tues) it’s been cooler than it normally should be at this time of year.

It’s so strange to go from tropical temperatures to very cool temperatures all within the span of 24 hours. I wonder what our plants think of all the changes in the weather?

Have you had strange weather in your area in the last few days?

Being from T.O I know what you mean, and in my case I have been feeling very headachey because of it. I am sensitive to weather changes, and this was very abrupt. 🙁

We have had beautiful weather where I live this week. Over the weekend we had days of rain (remnants of Ike) but now it’s gorgeous!

Would you be interested in a link exchange with my newest blog? It sure could use a little link-love to get up and running and your blog seems to be a somewhat similar niche.

We live in Adelaide, South Australia and on Saturday the 18th October we had temperatures of 33 degrees celcius, it was boiling hot. On Sunday the 19th October we went into the hills for a picnic and we froze it must have been in at the most 12 degrees celcius…
If you have a look at our temperatures our temperatures are fluctuating between 9 and 37degrees within a few days.
Not sure what the plants think about this but I’m not happy.
