Amazing lightening strike

by Tricia

Wordless Wednesday

lightening strikes

Isn’t that an amazing picture of lightening striking a tree?

That just goes to show why you shouldn’t take cover under a tree in a rain storm. Tree’s get hit by lightening all the time and so do the people standing under them!

An amazing but frightening shot. Having been struck by lightening once, you can trust that I avoid trees in a storm. I avoid being near light poles even more and I NEVER carry an umbrella if it is storming.

When I first saw people being struck by lightning on TV shows like 911, I was so scared. I almost panicked every time there was lightning and I was outdoors!

Wow, that’s an awesome photo of nature at its deadliest. Yes, we should never seek cover under a tree when there’s thunderstorms. We might end up being hit by lightning. Thanks for the post. God bless.

This photo is simply incredible. What timing! Like you say, never stand under a tree in a thunderstorm. The tree could blow up and you too. Ewww!
