Autumn in the park

by Tricia

Wordless Wednesday

IMG_5115

A few weeks ago the park we take our dog to for hikes in the woods looked like this.

This was as nice as our fall colors got this year in Toronto.

That’s long gone of course.

We’ve had snow a few times, and the leaves have fallen off the trees. Winter is pretty much here.

I’m happy to enjoy the season – as long as I can stay warm!

Autumn is great time of year, for colors and light and air.
I grew up in New York, and liked autumn, but never enjoyed the impending arrival of winter.

it must be nice to live near a woods like that… must be more spectacular when seen by one’s own eyes… and yeah, i don’t mind winter, too as long as i don’t get chilled to the bone 🙂

Your photo inspires imagination and memories of the fall season which is passing by us into the chills of winter.

I wish our suroundings looked as good. We are having a sticky winter in Sweden; no snow and lots of darkness. (Good thing is that we’ve actually had some snow after November – which is a good sign. Let’s hope for more.)
