Where do traveling business people stay?

by Tricia

Have you ever traveled, perhaps for business and ended up staying in one of those Condo Hotels?

To the best of my knowledge condo hotels are similar to hotels as far as book and service goes but because the accommodations really are in a condo I think they are meant for longer stays.

That’s why I was asking if any one had traveled on business and stayed in one. Perhaps you were assigned to an office in another city for three to six months to train for a higher promotion or to train other employees? I could see businesses renting out condo’s for long periods of time to house their traveling employees in.

Just Joey is Just Blooming!

by Tricia

I posted a photo of one of my roses in bud form for Wednesday’s Wordless Wednesday post and a few commenter’s wanted to see what this lovely rose looked like when it’s in full bloom:

justjoey4

How is that for a beautiful bloom?

Just Joey is a gorgeous, if slightly temperamental hybrid tea rose. I say it’s temperamental because in my zone it does fairly well through the winter, but the stems do die down to the snow line. With winter protection it does much better and blooms earlier.

Just Joey has a lovely scent. One or two blooms indoors fill a room with scent.

If you live in zone 5 or higher I recommend that you get this rose. You will not be disappointed.

Discount Blinds at Terrys Fabrics

by Tricia

How have you dressed you windows? I know that some people prefer curtains while others prefer blinds. I suppose it depends upon the style of the house and the decor of the room as to which style of window dressing you might choose to use.

I have a mix or blinds and curtains in my 1920’s style home. I’ve found that curtains just don’t look right in my smaller spare bedrooms so I’ve opted to use Roman blinds which roll up into folds of material and have a curtain like effect. I also use mini blinds on my small basement windows as I find blinds makes it easier to allow the amount of light into the room that I want while making it hard for anyone outdoors to see into the room.

If you have been looking for blinds for your home you might want to take a look at the wide selection at TerrysFabrics.co.uk.

You’ll find a large variety of blinds at Terrys. They have Roller blinds, Roman blinds kits, Roman blinds, Venetian blinds, Vertical blinds, and wooden blinds. The company also offers quality custom made blinds.

If you have been considering getting some blinds for your home do check out the selection at Terrys Fabrics. The prices are great and the selection is outstanding.
