BeautifulRealArt.com sells only original artwork

by Tricia

Do you enjoy original artwork, or collect artwork as a form of investment? If you do, you might be interested in visiting www.BeautifulRealArt.com. This is a site that specializes in, and prides itself in selling original one of a kind pieces of art. Unlike most art galleries, Beautiful Real Art own and stock all of the original art pieces that they sell. If you’re interested in purchasing a piece of art from the site you’ll deal directly with the company.

I’ve spent some time looking over the website and I must say that there are some beautiful and amazing pieces of artwork for sale. There are photographs, drawings, oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, as well as sculptures and pottery. The artwork styles range from abstract to landscape, still life, wildlife, fantasy, floral, expressionist, impressionist, contemporary, to digital and real mixed media.

Beautiful Real Art only sells original works. They do not sell prints, copies, giclees or serigraphs. So you know that when you make a purchase that you are the only one that has that particular pieces of artwork.

My personal favorites, when visiting the site, are the sculptures, pottery and hand crafted glass pieces. I have a particular affection for pottery and there’s an orchid planter on the second page of the “all other Art” section that I just adore.

Beautiful Real Art also offers gift certificates that you might think of give as a birthday gift to another art lover. As someone who enjoys the works of talented artists I know I’d appreciate getting a gift certificate that would allow me to purchase a piece of original artwork over a gift certificate for a department store.

If you do decide to purchase a piece of art from the online store you’ll be pleased to know that the site is encrypted for your safety and protection. Once you’ve made a purchase you’ll receive your new artwork quickly as Beautiful Real Art is now offering free 2-day express shipping on all purchases.

I’ve bookmarked this site as I might make a purchase sometime in the near future. I plan on keeping an eye on this site and when a piece of art is available that suites my style, home, and perhaps decor I’ll be sure to purchase it.

Visit the site yourself and see the fine artwork they are selling.

We need a new mailbox

by Tricia

It’s the time of year that many people start to do their spring cleaning. Spring cleaning doesn’t involve just cleaning the inside of the home of course. It can be cleaning the garage and I think it should probably include all of the regular types of indoor and outdoor maintenance we do for our homes too. Whether that’s re-painting the fence, staining the deck, or doing a little bit of work on the indoor plumbing. Spring just seems the time when we do those tasks.

One of the things that I’d like to do this spring is get a new mailbox. I tried to convince my husband that we needed a new one last year but he in turn convinced me that we didn’t. It turns out that I was right. The lid squeaks like crazy when we open up the mailbox to retrieve our mail and it actually stays open instead of falling closed. I think our mailman has given up on our mailbox because he just leaves it open all the time now.

I visited a site called Mailboxixchange and they have a lot of great choices in mailboxes. They have everything from mailboxes on posts, to wall mounted mailboxes – that’s the kind I need, and of course mailslots.

The mailbox designs are very nice. They have everything from antique styles to modern styles with copper finish. The site has given me some great ideas. Now to decide just which one we should get.

All season tires or Snow tires

by Tricia

Usually at this time of year here in Toronto we’d be seeing huge snow storms at least once a week. We’ve been quite fortunate so far though and haven’t had any snow. That’s unbelievable. I’m sure our luck won’t hold and that it will suddenly turn very cold and we’ll have a major storm, but until that time I’m quite happy to enjoy the weather.

When it does snow though I’ll have to drive in it and I don’t like driving around without a good set of tires on my car in the winter. This article about winter snow tires that I read on Caroom.us brings up some important information as to why having a set of real winter tires is important.

Many people buy All Season Tires year in and year out, and while this is ok in some places, it’s not suitable in others. I’ve seen far too many cars wipe out near and in front of my house that have all season tires on – old and usually balding to not believe that everyone living in cold weather areas that get a fair amount of snow should use winter tires. Read Caroom.us article to get even more information as to why winter tires are important and economical. Actually, the site appears to have a number of good auto related articles that are easy to read and not just for the automotive buff.

I think one of the reasons why people in Toronto use all season tires most of the time is because our winters have become quite mild in the last 10 years or so. We do get snow most years but it melts for the most part within a day or two. So people try to “get by” on all season tires. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if some “got by” using summer tires year round. Not safe, but when you can’t count on snow and frequent snow storms I guess you do that.
