This weeks theme is RED
This is an orangey red tiger lily that grows each year in my garden.
I love looking out my kitchen window in the morning and seeing their fiery color in the bright sun. They really are quite pretty when grown in large clumps.
Just don’t bend down to try to smell a lily.
That colored pollen stains and if you get it on your face, arm or shirt it will take a while to get off. I believe it’s just about impossible to get off clothes!

This weeks theme is I love _____
I was uploading photos to my new dragonden’s home page Photrade account, going over older garden photos and I came across a few photos that I really loved.
One of them was this photo of Golden Hosta leaves (which ironically are chartreuse) and Grape Hyacinth (muscari). Isn’t it a lovely combination of colors?

This weeks theme is Classic
I know that not everyone grows phlox in their garden, but I do think that because it’s always been a popular garden plant that it is a true garden classic.
This phlox is Phlox David. It’s hardy and disease resistant and of the many phlox hybrids this is one of the most popular.
