Blogger Award Season Continues

by Tricia

Did you know that there are more blogging award nominations going on? I was surprised too.

A company that I sometimes do some blogging with decided to create blogger awards that they’ve decided to name The Bl0ggers Choice Awards.

The winning sites in each of the 33 categories will be announced on June 2nd at the P0stieC0n convention in Florida.

If you’d like, you can nominate your own site or sites, and as many other bloggers in the various categories as you like. You can also vote for as many blogs as you’d like to, but I believe you can only vote for a blog once per category.

I’m not exactly sure how long blog nominations will go on as the information I have says that we can nominate and vote for sites through the month of March, but of course it’s April and the site has only just been announced. Perhaps they meant that we can nominate and vote through April? I’m sure they’ll put a clarification up on the Bl0ggers Ch0ice Award site shortly.

To nominate a site simply register for an account and start nominating sites in each of the many categories. It’s unfortunate but I don’t really see a category that this site or others like it might be listed in. Perhaps the educational blog award category? They really need to add a hobby or recreational blog award don’t they?

I haven’t made any nominations yet, but I guess with no limitation on the amount of blogs that one could nominate I could potentially nominate all of my favorite blogs and bloggers. I’d really love it if someone would be kind enough to nominate this site and or any of my other sites.

What are you waiting for? Go and nominate your favorite sites now. I’ll be along shortly to add my many nominations to the list too!

Pay for performance – let eTrafficJams promote your site

by Tricia

Anyone who has a website should become familiar with some of the methods of promoting and marketing a website. I mean, very few put up a website just for themselves. Everyone wants visitors don’t they?

Of course anyone who has set up a business website definitely needs to work towards promoting and marketing their sites, but since they are attempting to run a business at the same time they often don’t have the time or perhaps even the necessary skills to be able to do this effectively. That’s where etrafficjams.com – a search engine optimization company comes into the picture.

Etrafficjams.com has a pay for performance service that is perfect for just about any business or anyone who seriously wants to market and promote their website. You only pay for performance. What does that mean? Well, etrafficjams.com goal in marketing your site is to get your site to come up in the top 10 search engine rankings for it’s main keywords. You only pay if they manage to achieve their goal of getting your site to come up in the top 10 search engine rankings for Google, Yahoo and MSN.

The company does require an initial set up fee but the rest of what you pay for a years worth of search engine optimization is based purely on etrafficjams.com performance.

If you want to get more visitors coming to your site and hopefully make more sales check out etrafficjams.com site for more information about their pay for performance program.

The other day I made a post about a photo contest. I do hope that some of you might want to enter the contest.

All you need to do is use your creativity and your sense of humor and take a photo of a Banana. See the “Show me your Banana” photo contest posting for more information about the contest.

I’d like to get at least 10 entries. Remember you could win a years free hosting for your website and or blogs.
