Bringing the garden indoors

by Tricia

OMG! I went outside to look at the garden and I couldn’t help myself.

I usually don’t do this …. but I ended up picking enough lovely pink roses and pure white peonies to make a decent bouquet for a good size vase.

It’s lovely and it smells heavenly!

I don’t know why, but I normally like to enjoy the bounty of my garden – in my garden. Something compelled me to gather some flowers today though and I’m loving it.

Lovely Flowers and gift baskets for Easter

by Tricia

It looks like Easter weekend has arrived. Did you remember to send flowers to your mother or perhaps to another relative that you can’t be with this weekend?

If you are thinking of sending flowers to someone you love take a look at the fine selection of flowers at ProFlowers. They have some absolutely gorgeous Easter bouquets and gift baskets. You can pick and choose between a large number of Easter flowers such as tulips, iris’, lilies (Calla lilies, Easter lilies, and traditional lilies), orchids, roses and many other lovely flowers. They also have some wonderful Easter baskets filled with goodies.

When you make an order with Proflowers your flower delivery will be made up of flowers fresh from the fields. They guarantee that your flowers will last for 7 days or you’ll get your money back.

If someone were to send me flowers at this time of year I’d love to get a bouquet of tulips. My own tulips aren’t up yet, and for some reason I rarely cut my own flowers, yet I love having flowers indoors almost as much as I enjoy seeing them in my garden. Yes, a bouquet of tulips would be nice.

If someone where to send you flowers for Easter or perhaps Mothers Day what kind of flowers would you like to receive?

Don’t forget to send some flowers to your mother!

Florapedia – ProFlowers new flower guide

by Tricia

Can you believe that today is the first full day of Spring? Time certainly flies doesn’t it? Before long it will be Easter and then Mother’s day right after that!

I don’t know about you, but my garden is only just beginning to wake up. I certainly won’t have flowers growing by Easter, and they’ll only just be starting to bud when Mother’s day arrives.

Having said that, I have bookmarked a great site called ProFlowers. They specialize in flower & plant delivery, and have quite a nice assortment of bouquets, plants, planted baskets and even gourmet gifts. They even offer International delivery.

There’s one special feature of the ProFlowers site that I think many of you will enjoy. It’s their new flower guide. It’s called Florapedia. The Florapedia has great information about choosing the right kind of flower for a particular occasion, care and tips, Floral factoids, and decorating tips and ideas. This is a great added bonus to the site, and I’m certain you’ll learn something new in the Florapedia.

So keep Proflowers in mind the next time you need to send someone a special occasion gift, and remember to take a peek at the Florapedia too.
