Gorgeous Casa Sollevare Luxury Home

by Tricia

Hey, do you enjoy looking at new homes?

I guess you could call it a form of window shopping.

I enjoy occasionally going to open houses in the area to see how other people have decorated or renovated their homes. Especially if the home is similar in design to my own. It’s a great way to get some ideas.

Even if the house isn’t similar to the home you’re currently in it’s a great way to get ideas for your own home or as a way to begin developing plans for a home you might buy in the future.

I sometimes even browse the MLS listings to compare home prices and take a virtual tour of houses. You could even do a search on one of the search engines for homes that have features that you’re interested in.

For example if you were looking for “luxury golf home Italian architecture” you’d find this absolutely gorgeous house!

This home, currently being highlighted on the CasaSollevare.com website is owned by the architect that created the luxury design on the Colorado Golf course. It was actually named the 2006 home of the year by Colorado Homes & Lifestyles magazine. It’s a Tuscan design and this luxurious home is a cliff side home elevated 350 feet. It has a 360 degree view that extends 50 miles and overlooks Colorado’s most popular wine producing area.

I love the gorgeous fireplace parlor.

Can you imagine retiring to the parlor after a fine meal? The chairs are lovely too. They look like some that I saw on another website earlier this week that were made of old wine barrels.

I’d also be more than pleased to have a kitchen like the one I’ve included an image of below in my own home! It’s modern yet appears to have that timeless old fashion style to it as well. I love the warm yellow walls too.

The attention to detail within the home is amazing. Each room is furnished beautifully.

I could add more photos and continue to gush over this lovely home, but the best suggestion I could make would be to visit the site and go on the virtual tour. I believe if you do the whole tour you’ll see all of the main rooms of the house on the upper and lower floors.

Believe me when I say this home has it all including a gym and spa, garden room, kitchen, wine cellar and so on. It’s even got an elevator!

Unfortunately this home is not within my price range at $2,500,000 but for all I know it may be within your budget! Whether it is or isn’t it’s a nice home to have a peak at and to dream about owning.

Outdoor cedar furniture

by Tricia

I’m sure many of my readers have lovely gardens, and patios from which to sit and enjoy their gardens. Others might not have full gardens, but you might have a nice apartment or condo balcony that you’ve added potted plants to and have tried to create a nice area to relax in.

What kind of furnishings do you use in your yard, patio or balconies? If you need more outdoor furniture or if it’s time for a change you might want to take a look at the various types of outdoor wood furniture that is being sold at Adams All Natural Cedar.

I don’t know about you, but I really like Adirondack chairs and cedar tables. The chairs are comfortable and I like the color of the wood.

If you also like lovely outdoor wood furniture do take a moment and visit Adams All Natural cedar. It seems they carry quite an impressive selection of items. Just looking in the Patio section of the site I see listings for Wicker furniture, barstools, cedar chairs and loungers, potting benches, outdoor storage, gable vents, cedar planters, Garden benches, Garden bridges, Garden trellis accents, Dog and cat houses, Swings and Gliders, Outdoor rockers, outdoor tables, mailboxes, door mats, flower window boxes, log furniture, arbors and pergolas and much more.

If you were to purchase some furnishings from Adams you’d also receive free ground shipping if you live within the U.S. contiguous 48 states. I can imagine that it’s not cheap to ship wooden furniture so it’s nice that they offer free ground shipping to customers.

Visit the site if you are looking for outdoor furniture. I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy the selection.

Mourning Doves multipling

by Tricia

Every year that we’ve lived here we’ve had mourning doves in the backyard. They always come in pairs.

One will eat at the feeder while the other watches from a tree, a wire, or the roof top. Then they change places.

This year we have four mourning doves. Two are smaller than the others. I have a feeling that they are our regular mourning doves babies. They’re about half the size!

They’re so cute but whenever one of the bigger mourning doves comes along the little one tries to chase it away.

I’ll try to get a photo of the younger ones if I can.

Right now we’ve got one small mourning dove hanging out under a patio chair. We have the sprinkler on and I think it’s drinking water from the cracks in the patio stones design. Smart little things.
