Lap Band surgery as a way to lose weight

by Tricia

As some of you know I’m a nurse. In one of my former positions I used to work in, and in fact managed, as cosmetic surgery clinic. We booked a number of surgeries for the doctor in the hospital that he’s associated with and did a number of surgeries in the clinic itself.

Once of the most satisfying procedures that the doctor did was to remove the excess skin from people who had lost a lot of weight. They’d already made great success in their lives by removing the weight either because they’d dieted, had lap band surgery in the past or other surgeries that helped them lose the weight.

Whether to have lap band surgery or not is a personal decision that people have to make on their own.

However having said that, if anyone is considering getting a gastric bypass I would suggest that you visit Mylapbandsurgery.com. The site is full of information on the different types of lap band procedures available.

You can also get information on the site about Lap band Surgeon Mexico via the Surgeon’s tab in the left menu on the main page.

I think one of the best sections of the site has got to be the FAQ section and the before and after photo gallery. You can see how getting a lapband surgery has helped some people get back into shape and more than likely return to health.

There are many benefits to losing weight no matter which way you choose. You’ll be able to be more active and being more active should help improve your muscle tone, respiratory and cardiovascular health. If you have back problems they might not go away with weight loss but it should certainly improve, just as breathing troubles or that feeling of breathlessness should as well. Diseases such as diabetes might be better controlled with weight loss as well.

If you are overweight and have been considering having lap band surgery visit the Mylapbandsurgery.com website to get as much information about the procedure and types of procedures that you can have and then if it sounds right for you, you’ll have more information to base your decision on.

As I said having a procedure such as this is a personal decision and you should look into your current state of health as well as the pros and cons of any surgery prior to making your final decision.

Water For Life Ionizers – healthier water

by Tricia

I’ve noticed a trend over the last decade or so, probably you have as well. Everyone seems to be very concerned with the water that they are drinking. If you, like many others, want to drink water that is pure and healthy why don’t you take a moment and consider drinking ionized water.

It’s said that ionized water is similar to the fresh water that you can get from a glacial stream or iceberg. A water ionizer such as the models sold through Water For Life Ionizers emulates the same type of conversion as that of glacial water.

When you use a water ionizer the water is purified using a controlled low voltage electrolysis. This ionized water can help balance the bodies PH. Our bodies PH levels tend to be acidic due to the type of food and drink that we take in – processed foods and soft drinks tend to add more acid to our bodies than we need, or in fact can process properly.

There are testimonials on the web site written by people that use the Water Ionizer system who state that now that they only drink ionized water and also use it when cooking meals they feel healthier, have more energy and in many cases they’ve had a decrease in symptoms caused by chronic ailments such as arthritis and similar disorders. The people who have written the testimonials feel that by balancing their bodies PH, and as a result lowering the acid levels in their body, that they are feeling better than they have in a long time.

There’s quite a bit of information on the website. You’ll find information about the specific types of water ionizers sold by Water For Life Ionizers, as well as scientific and medical information provided by doctors and scientists, client testimonials, FAQ’s and other resources.

If you are interested in learning more about Ionized water and water ionizers I suggest that you visit the site and take the time to read through the vast amount of information on the Water For Life Ionizers website.

Discount Safety Gear

by Tricia

As I’ve said many a time, Spring is the time of year when home owners start to spruce up their homes, and start renovation projects both indoors and out. It’s also the time of year when new housing projects start up, and or construction crews and road crews get busy on various city or private construction projects.

As you probably know by now my husband and I do a lot of our own projects around the home. We attempt to work on our projects in the safest ways possible, for example we wear gloves, masks and safety glasses when doing many of our projects so that we can protect our hands, lungs and eyes.

I strongly believe that anyone working on a DIY project or who works professionally in the field of construction should have the appropriate safety gear.

DiscountSafetyGear.com has a wide assortment of industrial safety gear. They have products ranging from Safety Goggles to ear plugs, welding helmets and accessories, respiratory protection, Hard Hats, flashlights, other lighting accessories and many more products including a wide variety of First Aid Kits, and you’ll even find a section on safety laws and links to safety related websites and resources.

I think that this website has been well thought out. The menu system to the left has been divided into all the main safety gear related categories that I’d imagine anyone looking for safety related products would want to see.

When you open up one of the category sections, perhaps the hard hats section for example, you’ll find thumbnails that divide the section into sub-categories giving the visitor the ability to shop by price, brand, or type. Below that section you’ll see samples of their most popular hard hats.

Did you know that you can purchase Harley Davidson hard hats and Pink Hard Hats? You can be safe and maintain a fashionable look at the same time!

When you find a product that interests you all you need to do is click on the thumbnail and you’ll be taken to a page where you can get more information about the product and see the various prices for that product. Since this website specializes in supplying industrial safety gear you’ll see discounted prices listed for the purchase of multiple quantities of each item.

I found the site to be easy to use, easy to navigate and there were images and detailed product descriptions. That’s everything I want in an online store – no matter what they sell.

Since there are more and more people like myself who are beginning to renovate their homes or properties on their own I’d love to see a home safety category that would list products that could be used in the home setting to keep home owners safe.

Perhaps they could sell three legged ladders, painting platforms – especially ones that could be set up over a staircase and other items such as those. Perhaps the store owners could look up data about accidents in and around the home and see how many are related to DIY, maintenance or renovation products and choose to sell items that would make the kind of activities that caused those accidents safer?

I would think falls from high places – like working on a roof, or falling off an unsecured ladder would be high on the list, which is why I was suggesting that a three legged ladder might be an item that they should consider selling.

If the Discount Safety Gear store owners took the time to look up home related accidents they might want to make up some information sheets or FAQ’s that explained how to do some of the more common maintenance and DIY tasks in a safer manner. I’m certain that they’d get an influx of visitors who were searching for this kind of information.

I realize that the Discount Safety Gear store sells products mainly to small construction companies, but if they added a selection of items and information related to home safety gear I think they’d double or even triple their traffic and sales. There’s a lot of potential for this store if they’d care to expand.

If you work in an industry that requires safety gear, or do home reno projects like myself, do take a look at this online store. The items are reasonably priced, and if you purchase over $100 worth of goods the shipping is free. Check it out.
