Chia Van?

I couldn’t resist posting this one today. I love this photo!

It looks like they attached sod to the van in some way, doesn’t it?

Maybe it’s supposed to be some kind of green statement?

The garden car

Ever wondered what to do about that old car that your husband insists that he’s going to fix?

Or perhaps your lovely neighbors have a used car lot on their front lawn? Take your cue from this picture and grow a garden in the car!

If it’s been sitting long enough they’ll be plenty of organic material on and in the car. Just add some soil and compost, get one of the packages of “wild garden” or “Country Garden” seeds, sprinkle and lightly water. Before you know it, flowers will grow where only rust was before and you’ll wonder why you didn’t try this earlier.

The lawn creature

How do you like that little guy?

I almost got something like this for our own lawn but it was a .. actually I almost bought these things twice … one was a crocodile. It’s body was in pieces and they were flat like stepping stones. The second one that I almost purchased was a dinosaur with it’s head raised above the lawn and it’s back and tail too.

Of the three I think the crocodile would have been safer and much more practical. I’m a total klutz, I’d be tripping over the little man or the dinosaur all the time I’m sure.
