Need ideas for holiday Gifts?

by Tricia

I just came across a site that is called the Christmas Gift Guide and I think it might be very helpful for anyone looking for gift ideas for Christmas .

The site tries to take the pain out of holiday shopping by offering up suggestions for the many different kinds of gifts that you can get for a variety of people in your life. On the site you’ll find guides that offer gift ideas for the family, babies, kids, teenagers, women, men, and the office. Heck there’s even an article that details the history of that jolly ol’ fellow Santa Claus.

What I like about the site is that you can navigate it easily. The directory for all of the different gift suggestions for the various types of people in your life in linked at the bottom of the main page, just one click and you are in the area of your choice and reading suggestions and practical advice on gift giving.

Using a Skooter to go green

by Tricia

Do you do your part to conserve energy and lower green house gasses? Have you ever thought of using Electric Scooters to get around to places that you would normally drive your car too. Places that aren’t too far from home? You save money on gas, save some wear and tear on your car and put fewer green house gasses into the air if you used one occasionally.

Yep, I’ve been spending some time over at Urbanscooters.com looking at the wide variety of scooters that they sell. I love the new styles that they are coming out with and I think their prices are reasonable too.

Even if you choose to use on of their Gas Scooters you’d likely be being good to the world because I think the gas scooters put out far few emissions than a car would.

If you really wanted to get serious about traveling around on a scooter then their line of Motor Scooters would be the way to go. One of the motor scooters that I was looking at goes to a maximum speed of 53 mph – that’s pretty good for getting around the city or short distance drives isn’t it?

For the real enthusiast they have a line of Go Karts and Dune Buggies. They’re really cool looking. I haven’t gone go carting since I was a teenager but just looking at their Karts brings back memories.

Have any of you ever thought of using a scooter before? Or do you own one?

Ambrosia Floral Boutique

by Tricia

I know we’re gardeners, but for those of us who live in cooler climates- do you ever send flowers or plant baskets to friends and family? I usually don’t in the summer as I have plenty of lovely flowers to make up a wonderful bouquet but I do use florists occasionally in the cooler months.

I found a very nice Florist in Tempe online. The company is called Ambrosia Floral Boutique and they have the nicest arrangements. They service a number of areas and cities, but they deliver worldwide.

On their main page they have a large number of Holiday and Christmas oriented arrangements and baskets that just look lovely. The prices on the site seem reasonable for what appears to be very nice quality floral arrangements.

If you’d like to visit Ambrosia Floral Boutique to see for yourself just click on the link. If you are in Arizona you might want to just drop in to their location and see the arrangements in person at 1949 W. Ray Road #36, Chandler, AZ 85224 or you could even give them a call on their toll free line to discuss a possible purchase and delivery 877-781-4282.

I might consider doing some business with them if I decide to purchase any arrangements as gifts in the next couple of weeks. Their flowers look very nice.
