Over 20,000 types of flooring at DiscountFlooring.com

by Tricia

Once the good weather begins here in my home town I notice a trend. Houses begin to go up for sale, and those that bought new homes begin renovating them, or perhaps those that didn’t sell also begin to upgrade their homes. This activity usually begins in March or April and continues at least until September.

Are you one of the people who are beginning to upgrade or renovate your home this year? Are you thinking of putting in new flooring? If you are, you might be interested in visiting DiscountFlooring.com where you can purchase everything from wood floors to laminate flooring, tile floors, porcelain tile, and even glass floors.

What I like about the site is that you can browse through the site by the type of flooring or tiling that you are looking for, or by brand names. There are thumbnail photos of each type of tile or flooring that you can click on in order to get more information about the product, as well as it’s pricing per square foot.

Discount Flooring lists more than 20,000 different types of flooring and tile products. You can choose from hardwood floors, laminate, cork, bamboo, ceramic tile, grantite, travertine, or glass.

There’s also an article library at Discount Flooring where you can find articles about picking the right flooring for your home, installation guides, and other tips and tricks for designing a room. They also have a service locator, so if you’d like to have your new flooring professionally installed you can use the service locator to find a contractor in your area.

We might install new flooring in our kitchen when we get around to renovating it. I’ve bookmarked this site so that I can browse through the different types of flooring when the time comes to decide what we’re doing with our kitchen. I suggest that you also bookmark the site if you have renovation plans in your future.

BeautifulRealArt.com sells only original artwork

by Tricia

Do you enjoy original artwork, or collect artwork as a form of investment? If you do, you might be interested in visiting www.BeautifulRealArt.com. This is a site that specializes in, and prides itself in selling original one of a kind pieces of art. Unlike most art galleries, Beautiful Real Art own and stock all of the original art pieces that they sell. If you’re interested in purchasing a piece of art from the site you’ll deal directly with the company.

I’ve spent some time looking over the website and I must say that there are some beautiful and amazing pieces of artwork for sale. There are photographs, drawings, oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, as well as sculptures and pottery. The artwork styles range from abstract to landscape, still life, wildlife, fantasy, floral, expressionist, impressionist, contemporary, to digital and real mixed media.

Beautiful Real Art only sells original works. They do not sell prints, copies, giclees or serigraphs. So you know that when you make a purchase that you are the only one that has that particular pieces of artwork.

My personal favorites, when visiting the site, are the sculptures, pottery and hand crafted glass pieces. I have a particular affection for pottery and there’s an orchid planter on the second page of the “all other Art” section that I just adore.

Beautiful Real Art also offers gift certificates that you might think of give as a birthday gift to another art lover. As someone who enjoys the works of talented artists I know I’d appreciate getting a gift certificate that would allow me to purchase a piece of original artwork over a gift certificate for a department store.

If you do decide to purchase a piece of art from the online store you’ll be pleased to know that the site is encrypted for your safety and protection. Once you’ve made a purchase you’ll receive your new artwork quickly as Beautiful Real Art is now offering free 2-day express shipping on all purchases.

I’ve bookmarked this site as I might make a purchase sometime in the near future. I plan on keeping an eye on this site and when a piece of art is available that suites my style, home, and perhaps decor I’ll be sure to purchase it.

Visit the site yourself and see the fine artwork they are selling.

Professional carpet cleaning – Southern Counties Cleaning

by Tricia

We have very few carpets in our home because both my husband and I have allergies to dust and mites. So you can imagine how important it is for the two of us that the carpets that we do have, and that the rest of the house remain as clean as possible in order to keep our allergy symptoms at bay.

That’s one of the main reasons why I decide to write this for Southern counties cleaning.co.uk. SCC specializes in carpet cleaning. They provide their carpet cleaning services to the following areas within the UK – London, Surrey, Kent and west Sussex.

You may be thinking “I vacuum regularly and we don’t have allergies, I don’t need a carpet cleaning service.” but did you know that having your carpets professionally cleaned regularly will help keep them looking good longer, and perhaps extend the life of your carpet? Carpeting a room or a whole house is an expensive undertaking. Isn’t it wise to protect your investment?

What about spots and stains? I’m sure that most people with carpeting in their homes have had a spill on the carpet that’s left a mark. Oh sure, you’ve tried to remove it with products you’ve purchased in the market, but they don’t always work well do they? That’s just one more reason to have your carpets professionally cleaned. Professionally carpet cleaners are often able to remove the spots and stains that we can’t – no matter how hard we’ve tried.

Sand, soil and grit will eventually take a toll on your carpet by damaging the fibers as they are repeatedly walked upon. Bacteria within the carpet can cause odours, and dust mites can cause or exacerbate allergies. Having your carpets professionally cleaned regularly will help control these problems, and as I said earlier extend the life of your carpet.

Have I convinced you yet as to why you should get your carpets professionally cleaned every now and then? I hope I have. In my husband and I’s case it’s a matter of maintaining our health. That’s a good enough reason for us.

SSC carpet cleaners service private homes and all types of premises. If you live in the Southern Counties of the UK consider hiring them to clean your carpets.
