Symbiotic relationship

Symbiotic relationship

Birds can be pests at times, but as you can see from the above photo they can also be quite helpful.

I know that when I’m outdoors at dusk or walking in a forest during the summer I tend to get swarmed with bugs (usually mosquitoes). It might actually be nice to have a few birds around to pick them off me like they are doing to the gazelle? in the picture.

Motherhood Redefined Luxury weekend – Special promo code 75 percent discount!

by Tricia

Ladies! I’ve just been given permission to tell you about a very special promotion. Motherhood Redefined is going to be holding a Mom’s luxury weekend getaway for self re-discovery this September 21st to 23rd in Phoenix Arizona.

Think about it … a weekend away from everyday life, accommodations in a four star luxury resort, celebrity speakers and interesting events including a fashion show.

Celebrity guest speakers that will be at the event are keynote speaker and relationship expert John Gray, Sheila Kelley of S-Factor fame, Dr. Lana Holstein will discuss intimacy, and Kathy Buckley – comedian and motivational speaker as well as a few other celebrity guest speakers who’ve also been guests on Oprah.

The point of the whole weekend is to give mothers a change to get away from their “mother hood” and have a chance to rediscover themselves, make connections with other women, spark their passions and interests again and just to treat themselves to an enjoyable and entertaining weekend.

Along with the guest speakers and fashion show, those attending Mother Redefined will also get to attend special interactive workshops such as learning how to dance the Salsa.

Now, the reason why I’m so excited about this is because the people running Motherhood Redefined decided to leak word of a very special promotion to only a few bloggers. I was one of the lucky few and I now have the privilege of letting you in on a special deal that will give you 75% off the regular price of the event.

If you use this special promotion code – 7575 – you’ll be able to attend all of the events, see all of the speakers and stay in the four star resort for only $319.50. Yes that’s right. Everything I’ve mentioned above is included in that price. The normal price for this event is $1,278! So you can see what a deal this special promo really is.

I know that a lot of women read this blog. Why don’t you treat yourself to a weekend away from the “mother hood”? Tell a good friend and go to the Motherhood Redefined event together. Just don’t forget to use the special promo code 7575 if and when you sign up!

Spring is a time for Romance

by Tricia

In an earlier post I discussed why Spring was my favorite season. It’s a time of change, growth and new experiences. I was talking about gardening and nature in my post but this is also very true of people as well.

School years end, we move on, some relationships breakup, and new ones start. It can be both an exciting and dramatic time.

It’s also a time when couples often make an effort to renew their relationship by spicing things up. Perhaps it’s just because winter limited the amount of things that one might do as a couple – I mean things outside of the home of course! So when Spring arrives it’s a joy to get outside and do things that we haven’t been able to do for a few months.

Things like a romantic picnic outdoors in a seclude or private area, renting a cabin or vacation home for a romantic weekend together, or simply going out on a date.

If you’d like to get some ideas about how to get some romance back into your relationship you might want to visit RomanceForEveryone.com.

Want to make your spouse or loved one feel special? Leave him or her a love note. You can read some romantic love letters that are posted at Romance for Everyone.

As I said above Spring can also be a time when relationships fail, or those who have been divorced begin to think about dating again. There’s a very informative article called “After a Breakup – When to start dating again” that some of you might find helpful.

Have you done anything romantic this spring? I’d love it if you’d share your stories. Oh and don’t forget to visit Romance for Everyone to get some new ideas too.
