This Canopy Chair would make a fantastic gift

by Tricia

If you’re still doing your holiday shopping for that special someone I might have a fantastic gift idea for you.

It’s the Canopy Chair by Renetto. This is a brand new type of outdoor chair that’s just come on the market so there’s little chance that your friends or family will already have one.

The Canopy chair is basically an Outdoor Chair that includes a canopy that will protect you from the hot sun when sitting in the chair. It’s a very well designed outdoor chair. Every single feature has been made with the users comfort and convenience in mind.

It’s a portable chair with a canopy that turns into a backpack for easy carrying.

The very best way to tell you about the chair is to simply show it to you:

As you can see it’s made of water proof material, a sturdy yet light frame, and heavy fabric to give the person seated in the chair good support.

The seat is oversize so it’s bound to be comfortable for just about anyone to sit in, and there’s a beverage holder on each of the chairs arm so lefties and right handed folks will be be able to choose where to place their drinks. I’m a lefty myself and I prefer chairs with two holders as the ones with only a single beverage holder tend to have them on the right.

When the chair is folded into a backpack you’ll discover that it has comfort padded shoulder straps. If you take this chair with you when you’re camping or on a long hike I’m sure the padded shoulder straps will be appreciated.

Here’s an example of how easy it is to fold up:

I think this chair would make an ideal gift for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors.

The Canopy Chair would be ideal to bring to sporting events, outdoor family gatherings, picnics, barbecues, used as extra seating in your backyard garden and of course it would be a perfect Camping Chair for those who enjoy getting away for the weekend to the great outdoors.

I’m sure you can think of even more uses for this innovative chair. It’s affordable and comes in five colors. Visit the site to learn more about the Canopy Chair and perhaps purchase one for yourself or as a gift for someone special.

I’ve decided to use Glass tiles in my kitchen and bathroom reno projects

by Tricia

I love watching home decor and renovation shows on TLC and the HGTV channels.

I always get great ideas for my own ever ongoing home renovation projects from these shows. If one of the shows is particularly good I’ll literally take notes – writing down product names, or visiting the shows website so that I can find out what products were used and then go on to visit those sites and bookmark them for future use.

I guess I’ve been working on a virtual home renovation scrapbook? Hey the information that I gather is good for my blog posts too of course. If I can’t use an idea maybe you can?

One of the products that caught my eye a while back when I was watching shows like Trading Places and that fun Australian group renovation show The Block is glass tile. I just love the look of it.

I guess you can’t really tell from this photo how much different glass tiles are from standard ceramic tiles, but they are glossy and just have what I think is a very luxurious look to them.

Our kitchen and bathroom renovations won’t take place until sometime next year, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up using glass tiles in both rooms.

I mean, I’ve even gone so far as to look for online stores that sell tiles.

I actually found what I think might be a good site to purchase my tiles from. It’s called AnchorBayTile.com and they specialize in the sale of ceramic tile. I’m really happy I found this site and thought that if any of my readers might also be in the process of renovating your homes that you might also be interested in this site.

There’s quite a selection of tiles ranging from ceramic, glass, to metal and wood! Now, I’m not near ready for my reno project yet so I haven’t even begun to compare prices, but as far as I can see AnchorBayTile.com has great prices for quality products. I mean – you can’t find glass or metal tiles at very many retail or online shops and this store has a huge variety.

I’m definitely keeping this site in mind because I just know I’m be purchasing glass and probably ceramic tiles for my projects.

Gorgeous Casa Sollevare Luxury Home

by Tricia

Hey, do you enjoy looking at new homes?

I guess you could call it a form of window shopping.

I enjoy occasionally going to open houses in the area to see how other people have decorated or renovated their homes. Especially if the home is similar in design to my own. It’s a great way to get some ideas.

Even if the house isn’t similar to the home you’re currently in it’s a great way to get ideas for your own home or as a way to begin developing plans for a home you might buy in the future.

I sometimes even browse the MLS listings to compare home prices and take a virtual tour of houses. You could even do a search on one of the search engines for homes that have features that you’re interested in.

For example if you were looking for “luxury golf home Italian architecture” you’d find this absolutely gorgeous house!

This home, currently being highlighted on the CasaSollevare.com website is owned by the architect that created the luxury design on the Colorado Golf course. It was actually named the 2006 home of the year by Colorado Homes & Lifestyles magazine. It’s a Tuscan design and this luxurious home is a cliff side home elevated 350 feet. It has a 360 degree view that extends 50 miles and overlooks Colorado’s most popular wine producing area.

6_fireplace_parlor.jpg Isn’t that a beautiful home?

I love the gorgeous fireplace parlor.

Can you imagine retiring to the parlor after a fine meal? The chairs are lovely too. They look like some that I saw on another website earlier this week that were made of old wine barrels.

I’d also be more than pleased to have a kitchen like the one I’ve included an image of below in my own home! It’s modern yet appears to have that timeless old fashion style to it as well. I love the warm yellow walls too.

The attention to detail within the home is amazing. Each room is furnished beautifully.

I could add more photos and continue to gush over this lovely home, but the best suggestion I could make would be to visit the site and go on the virtual tour. I believe if you do the whole tour you’ll see all of the main rooms of the house on the upper and lower floors.

Believe me when I say this home has it all including a gym and spa, garden room, kitchen, wine cellar and so on. It’s even got an elevator!

Unfortunately this home is not within my price range at $2,500,000 but for all I know it may be within your budget! Whether it is or isn’t it’s a nice home to have a peak at and to dream about owning.
