Home equity loans can be a wonderful way to secure some extra money often at a lower interest rate than if you&#8217;d taken out a personal loan.   <\/p><!--CusAds-->\n<p>We were going to take out a home equity loan so that we could finish up the renovations that we&#8217;ve started on our house but have been slow to finish.
