I took this photo on June 1st and the columbines (Aquilegia)  are still blooming and look just as lovely as they did two weeks ago. Actually we&#8217;ve had some mighty fierce thunder storms (Friday and today). I&#8217;m hoping that it will clear up soon as I have a few flats of annuals to plant and now that my roses are heavy with blooms they&#8217;re drooping &#8211; some branches are even touching the ground &#8211; so I must get out and stake the roses.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also hoping that it will clear up enough that I can take some photos, because as I said most of my roses are in bloom and it&#8217;s just a delightful sight.<\/p>\n<!--CusAds--><p>Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/feverishthoughts.com\/garden\/2006\/06\/23\/green-thumb-sunday\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">As the Garden Grows<\/a> for more information.
