Richard Wright of Pink Floyd has died

September 15, 2008 by Chris

A founding member of Pink Floyd has lost his battle with cancer. We have just lost more then a fabulous musician, but the idea of a way of thinking how we listen to music! The man was the keyboardist of Pink Floyd, imagine their music without keyboards.

Let’s pray that he does go to the great gig in the sky.

And I am not frightened of dying, any time will do, I don’t mind. Why should I be frightened of dying? There’s no reason for it,

Keep on Jammin’ Richard, where ever you are

I’m just now hearing this. Serious downer. Definitely one of my favorite bands.

I guess I’ll go listen to The Wall or something.

Carol, I think that I will remember forever, where I was when I heard of this tragic news.

I was just talking to my brother in law yesterday and he reminded me of when my brother Tim, who lives in Chicago now, told him when he saw them on the “Dark side of the moon” tour in Hamilton Ontario. He said “the guy on keyboards was unreal”. Is that an understatement or what?

May his soul rest in peace.
