This picture is the one that has haunted my childhood memories. <\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img src='https:\/\/feverishthoughts.com\/guitar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/03\/trangbang.jpg' alt='trangbang.jpg' \/><\/p>\n<p>The first time I saw it on TV, I was with my parents and I was stopped dead in my tracks. I recall asking them what these kids were running from and they told me that during the Vietnam war the V.N.A.F. (Vietnamese National Air Force) accidentally bombed a village called &#8220;Trang Bang&#8221; which was 25 miles west of the capital city of Saigon, with Napalm.<\/p>\n<div class=\"c354d1e329b235f1862b41000f5a4d18\" data-index=\"3\" style=\"float: left; margin: 10px 10px 10px 0;\">\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\r\ngoogle_ad_client = \"pub-3375789278566919\";\r\n\/* Guitar_inpost_300x250 *\/\r\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"3631424768\";\r\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\r\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\r\n\/\/-->\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\r\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<p> I couldn&#8217;t get it out of my mind then, and it still conjures up those same emotions even when viewing it after all these years.<\/p><!--CusAds-->\n<p>I have just found out that she lived literally down the street that we live on, about 3 blocks away. She even gave birth to her 2 children at the hospital that we both work at. I never in my wildest dreams, thought that I would one day have even the smallest connection with this person. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kimfoundation.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"ext-link\">Kim Phuc<\/a> also has a great non-profit Foundation for children who are victims of war.
