Dancing Ipod Robot
TOKYO Now, you can not only dance to the music on your iPod, you can dance with it, too.
A dancing iPod robot went on sale yesterday in Japan. The digital music player locks into the top of a dancing boombox-on-wheels. It looks a little like a ball popping out of an egg. The Miuro dancing robot will also play music from a P-C over a wireless connection. It sells for about 930 dollars. International distribution is expected in the second half of next year.
FREE HYBRIDS
WATSONVILLE, Calif. How do you sell energy-efficient homes in a slowing market? Toss in a fuel-efficient car. Clarum Homes is offering buyers a freebie Toyota Prius hybrid to clear out the last five homes in a Watsonville, California, senior housing development. The half (m) million-dollar-plus homes feature solar panels and other energy saving devices. Officials at Clarum decided the free hybrid would do more for the environment than a price cut on the homes.

That’s pretty cool, although $930 seems a bit on the super steep side of things for what amounts to a toy that will most likely stop being amusing after a few weeks.
