This weeks Theme is Antique
My wife and I drove from Toronto to Ottawa last July to go to one of her elderly aunts birthday parties. On the way home I spotted this antique coming up behind us. I had just enough time to let Trish know and she got out our cell phone camera and snapped some shots as it passed us.
I’m not even sure exactly what type of car it was, but it was pretty cool.
Ironically, as you can see in the second photo, there was a really nice Lotus in front of the antique car.

Wow! I only see this antique vehicles in our museum. Imagine this one is still running around.

Great car, and I love the stark differences between it and the lotus. Perfect timing 🙂

I am amazed that this car can go at regular freeway speeds!

Great pictures! I love antique cars, but usually don’t see them outside car shows or museums! To see one just on the road like that had to be cool.

My neighbor restored an old Studebaker once and it was gorgeous. Wonder what kind of gas mileage they get.. probably more than the lotus.

Back when cars were cars! I wonder if that is a flat or soft tire on it or just an effect of the angle of the photo. Really neat!

Yep..they’re built like a brick ****house. Can you imagine how much that vehicle weighs in terms of today’s cars.
