The British General Dental Council found David Quelch guilty in January of professional misconduct for pulling two teeth of a patient, against her will, without anesthesia, because she had complained about previous treatments. He supposedly said, “That’ll teach you …”
However, the patient at Romania’s Panduri Urology Hospital was not at fault when surgeon Naum Ciomu lost his temper at his own sloppiness and chopped off a 36-year-old man’s penis.
Ciomu later admitted that he had overreacted. Nonetheless, the Romanian doctors’ union complained that Ciomu’s fine the equivalent of about $190,000 was unwarranted.
Shocking isn’t it?
Cosmetic Dentistry in Beverly Hills says
If a dentist did something like that to me, I would do everything in my power to make sure he lost his license. What a complete lunatic.
Wart Treatments says
That is very strange that a doctor would just chomp off a mans penis cause he is mad. No amount of money in the world will make up for the mans penis being gone, thats just wrong. If my penis had been chopped off I would just say give me a gun, and shoot myself in the head cause my lifes over.
Sam says
sounds like standard behaviour for most of the dentists I know!
