This weeks Theme is Empty
This is a photo that Trish took of me standing on an old pier over looking Lake Ontario here in Toronto.
The lake is huge, and since it was January when the photo was taken there were no boats on the water. I was just looking out into a vast open space.
Don’t forget to check out Tricia’s sites too. She’s got beach, boardwalk and empty trees going at her two sites.
That looks so lonely and cold! It sure is a vast expanse of nothing…
Empty water… good one!
This is a great photo..Looks very calm to me
What a relaxing view.
Cheers!
Empty, and peaceful and beautiful.
Happy Hunting!
Super picture of something empty.
Looks serene.
Wonderful picture for this weeks’ theme! I was just in Toronto last weekend:-)
i’ve always heard that Toronto is one of the nicest tourist spot in canada…great photo! happy hunting!
I agree with Bobbie – empty, peaceful and beautiful. I love that shot! Good job to Tricia! =)
That “lake” looks like an ocean.
Been to Toronto MANY MANY times, and spent alot to time at the Lake.
Nice!
That is an awesome picture.
The water in winter and beaches… so empty and almost desolate but the beauty that is there during winter cannot be beat. Great shot.
Great shot. Happy weekend.
What a wonderful huge expanse of water. Overpowering in its hugeness. Wonderful atmosphere in the photo. You look so lonely. I’m glad you weren’t.
So beautiful! Living near water myself, I have lots of pictures like this, where there is nothing out there but open water. It’s very relaxing and very beautiful. I’ve always wanted to visit Toronto. Maybe someday…
very pretty. I love to go to the water and relax.
I live near Sunnyside Beach and go there quite often for walks.
Mine’s up too
