Has Orange County come up with a new way to catch speeders? or is it entrapment?
An Orange County sheriffs deputy, dressed as a leprechaun was seen on the roadside warning speeding drivers to slow down. A laser speed gun clocked cars above his sign read “Watch your speed or it will cost you your pot of gold.”
Deputies on motorcycles pulled over many of the lead footed motorists who didn’t ease off the gas peddle after reading the warning. Apparently deputies were writing one ticket each minute.
Some drivers complained of entrapment but Richard Lockman, AKA deputy leprechaun says “the elf didn’t force anybody to speed.”
I guess leprechauns aren’t always good luck now are they?

Yiu forgot to mention that this is Orange County, Florida—Orlando, Florida.
People usually assume that “Orange County”, left unspecified, means Orange County, California.
Thank you for any correction.

I think the leprechaun costume is hilarious… but not that effective.
