In Italy a convent had to be shut down after it’s last three nuns got into a fight.
As a result of the fight the Mother Superior ended up in the hospital with scratches to her face. The archbishop in Bari ended up asking the Vatican to intervene.
This had been a cloister of Clarissa nuns who are often regarded as the most austere order in the Roman Catholic Church. They are dedicated to a life of prayer, penance and contemplation.
There’s no word on what the fight was about, but it must have been a dousy to have ended with the convent being shut down!
Val says
Prayer, penance and comtemplation must have bored them to death already. Probably the fight was just to break the ice. 🙂
