In Ontario they’ve recently suggested or possibly passed a new law banning people from driving while using a cellphone. Perhaps they should look into banning other activities that people do while driving?
In Woodstock Ontario police are warning of the hazards of eating breakfast while behind the wheel. Why? Well, last Friday the Ontario Provincial police responded to a single vehicle crash. When they arrived on the scene they found an embarrassed young woman covered in milk and cereal.
The 21 year old woman was trying to eat her cereal from a bowl while driving on icy roads in the Highway 7 and Wellington County area. She lost control and crashed into the guide posts.
The woman, Louise Light, has been charged with careless driving.

Ok, if you’re in that much of a hurry that you can’t eat breakfast at least choose something that doesn’t require utensils to eat while driving! Especially something that requires spooning liquid into your mouth- I can’t manage to eat cereal without getting it everywhere when I am sitting at a table, can’t imagine doing it while driving!
