New Bedford councilman Paul Koczera doesn’t have to worry about gathering campaign contributions anymore. He won 2.5 million dollars in a state lottery scratch-off game. He turned in the winning ticket last week and walked away with the first of his 20 annual payments of $87,000+ dollars. He’s single ladies.
Koczera, says he continue on as a councilman and won’t quit his day job as a legislative director with the Bristol County Sherriff’s office.
