Nude runner causes multiple accidents

A drunk man who was running naked into highway traffic and subsequently caused three accidents has been arrested.

Two people stopped their cars and tried to help the 26 year old, Ardonas Gilbert of Chester P.A., who had been running naked along the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 this past Monday night. However Ardonas refused their help and allegedly cursed at them and tried to punch them says a Delaware State Police officer.

After hitting the people trying to help him, Gilbert then ran out into traffic and caused three separate accidents as motorists tried to avoid hitting the man. Luckily no one was seriously injured.

Gilbert was charged with two counts of assault and a single count of being drunk on a highway. What? No indecent exposure?






Snacks can be weapons too!

A man in Des Moines, Iowa, made an official complaint to police that his son assaulted him, leading to his son’s arrest on the charge of domestic assault.

The dirty details were revealed during the investigation. The mans son had been angry at him during an argument, and he chucked a bag of Cheetos in his direction. The bag hit the fathers glasses, causing them to bump up against his nose and cut him.

Other damage included Cheetos dust all over his shirt.

A new warning label will henceforth be placed on all Frito Lay products warning against use as a weapon.

This brings new meaning to the term Food Fight!

Osama arrested on Interstate

Tom Connolly, a 49-year-old lawyer from Scarborough, Maine, may give more thought to next year’s Halloween costume. He was arrested at gunpoint and charged with criminal threatening, after he stood at a highway construction site on Interstate 295 while wearing an Osama bin Laden costume and waving a sign.

When the police officers arrived after being alerted by motorists’ calls, they found a man wearing a white robe and plastic dynamite, grenades, and a replica of an A-K-47 assault rifle.

South Portland Police Chief Ed Googins says “The whole thing is just incredibly bizarre, it just crossed the line.” Connolly, who was the Democratic nominee for governor of Maine in 1998, says he intends to plead not guilty. Interestingly, Connolly first drew national attention when he was identified as the Democrat who tipped the media to President George Bush’s 1976 drunken-driving arrest in Kennebunkport.

Strange Man in the street

Get this story, about a man who claimed to be carrying a bomb-

A recent stand-off between a man and the police ended peacefully in the streets of Phoenix.

The Phoenix Police received a call at about 3:50 p.m. one day, from a driver who said he saw a man acting strangely and walking in and out of traffic along Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix. I live in a big city too, I’m sure police gets calls like this often enough. When the police arrived to check out the complaint they noticed a man was holding a yellow blanket to conceal his hands and upper chest and he was saying that he had a bomb.The Police shut down the street and evacuated a Burger King and Circle K.

The officers asked the man to put down the blanket and surrender for more than an hour, but when he refused, police fired several stun bag rounds and concussion grenades, and sicked a police dog on the man. Ow!

After the police action, officers ran up to the man, and he threw what he had been concealing at them. It turned out to be a block of wood. It was unclear why the man was acting in such an odd way. He might have been mentally unstable or on drugs.

The man faces charges of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. He was taken to a local hospital with a minor bite on one of his arms. I bet that ended up being an interesting story for the ER staff to talk about.
