Trish and I are thinking of getting a pet dog. While it might be fun to dress up a pet every now and then I absolutely vow that we will not dress up our potential pet dog like this.
Even if I do think this dog looks super cute in it’s costume … 😉

This is another photo that we took when we were at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition on Saturday.
I’d love to have purchased this woodpecker for my garden. Maybe it would scare away the pigeons that like to hang out in our yard.
The metal artwork at this booth was very expensive. I’m not sure how much that woodpecker was but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a couple hundred dollars.

Has your cat ever freaked out over something that’s been on TV?
I think it’s hilarious when you catch an animal watching TV. We used to have lizards – a big iguana and a few smaller water dragons and they would actually watch TV. We’d put nature shows on for them.
It was interesting when our iguana would see another iguana on TV. Very much like it is when a cat or dog notices another one of their species on TV.
I think cats are the best for watching TV though. It’s funny when they try to investigate behind the TV to see where the other cat or the bird went. Yes, I’ve seen it, they really do do this!
Do your pets do strange things when they notice the TV?

This weeks Theme is Shiny
Last summer we went to Chicago to visit my brother and his family. It was a long drive back and forth and a very short visit. We were there to go to a concert and well visit with family.
During one of the days we were there we drove into downtown Chicago and proceeded to take our own walking tour of the city. This shiny moose was one of the great sculptures that we saw and photographed.
We loved Chicago BTW. It’s very much like Toronto. If you ever get to go to either city you’ll now have an idea of what the other one is like.
