They must have some very very sensitive fire alarms in Berlin Germany.
Recently a group of young German women used so much spray deodorant in the North Sea youth Hostel’s bathroom that it set off the fire alarm. The local fire brigade responded to the alarms rushing into to rescue the young women.
“The fumes of the pleasant-smelling deodorant were so intense that they drifted up to the ceiling and set off a fire detector,” said Volker Buttgereit of the Buesum police force.
“Hopefully the girls will get by with a little less spray next time,” said Buttgereit, admitting to being surprised that the heavy use of deodorant set off the alarm.
