This weeks theme is Two
There’s an area in Toronto called Kensington. It’s a popular area to go on the weekends as there’s a market, and lots of wholesale food and clothing shops where you can get some excellent deals.
These mannequins are on a balcony above a store that sells really cool used clothing. I guess they should probably put some of the used clothing they sell on the mannequins eh?

This weeks theme is Funky
Standing at the base of Toronto’s CN Tower (the largest free standing structure in the world) is kind of Funky:
These photos were taken last year when only the top of the CN Tower was light, as it has been since the beginning. However, this past June the city added LED lights to the sides of the tower and the whole tower is lit every night.
This is what the top where the restaurant, glass floor and observation decks used to look like:
Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the CN tower since they added the lights to the side. These also aren’t the best photos in the world but they do show how cool looking the CN tower can be at night.

Wordless Wednesday
This is another photo that we took when we were at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition on Saturday.
I’d love to have purchased this woodpecker for my garden. Maybe it would scare away the pigeons that like to hang out in our yard.
The metal artwork at this booth was very expensive. I’m not sure how much that woodpecker was but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a couple hundred dollars.

One of these days we’re going to go on an extended holiday to Australia. I think I’ve wanted to go to Australia ever since I was a young child.
I’d want to spend some time in the Outback but I’d also want to spend time in Sydney and Brisbane. I’m sure there will be a whole itinerary by the time we actually are ready to go on our holiday but for now those three places have made the short list.
We’ll want to keep expenses down while we’re in Australia so I’ve been looking for Hotels in Brisbane and other locations that aren’t too expensive. Luckily I found a site that lists Cheap Hotels in Brisbane. I’m going to bookmark that site as it looks like it has the lowest prices anywhere!
I’m pretty sure that it will be at least five years before we get to go on this dream trip so we have lots of time to plan.
We’re both animals lovers – going to our zoo here in Toronto regularly to see all the different animals of the world, so when we do go to Australia we’ll have to go on some sight seeing adventures that include getting a look at the local flora and fauna.
