Asked supermarket manager to check records of recent toilet-paper purchases.<\/p>\n<p>    * 2. Checked store&#8217;s surveillance tape for the time of a purchase that included 144 rolls of toilet paper, dog food and flour.<\/p>\n<p>    * 3. Checked a school yearbook and went online to nail down the names and addresses of the teens shown on the tape.<\/p>\n<p>    * 4.
