One was that if you&#8217;re leaving your home you should carry a key to the front door with you &#8230; and, secondly, that if you&#8217;re going to try and get in through a window, pick a big one.His attempts to get into his own home resulted in an odd predicament at about 9.30 a.m.. He also provided his neighbours with a humorous story to tell for years to come..<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He was very embarrassed,&#8221; a fire service spokesman said. The young man had tried to ease his way through a fanlight window in the washroom, but only got as far as getting his arms and shoulders in before becoming wedged in the window frame.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters removed a latch and were able to fully open the window, freeing him.<\/p>\n<p>A report that one onlooker cried &#8220;encore&#8221; after he was freed could not be confirmed.<\/p>\n<p><em>Strange house to house chase<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Two men are in custody after an alleged crime spree that included stealing a police officer&#8217;s car.<\/p>\n<p>The strange chain of events began when two men accused of stealing a U-Haul truck stopped at a McDonalds. It just so happened a Lynnwood officer was at the fast food restaurant at the same time.<\/p><!--CusAds-->\n<p>&#8220;And in the parking lot are the two suspects. As the officer approached, the suspects fled on foot,&#8221; said Shannon Sessions of the Lynnwood Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Police used dogs to track the men to a nearby neighborhood. As officers asked residents to stay inside, a woman told them two men stopped by her house looking for someone who no  longer lived there. In fact, the men were still in her living room.<\/p>\n<p>An officer drove over to have a look, leaving his patrol car running in the driveway.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sure enough, it was the suspects,&#8221; Sessions said. &#8221; As the officer was getting them on the ground at gun point, one fled, got into the officer&#8217;s patrol car and took off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The chase was on. The suspect drove with the lights flashing, until a dead end stopped him. He crashed the police cruiser into a line of trees.<\/p>\n<p>Again he took off on foot, and again dogs were on the trail &#8212; and again the suspect ended up in someone&#8217;s house.<\/p>\n<p>This time, when a couple came home they noticed something: the blinds were closed &#8212; something they never do. So they called the police.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Officers surrounded the house, went inside and the suspect was in a bed, under the covers &#8212; he was arrested,&#8221; said Sessions.<\/p>\n<!--CusAds--><p>Police say the suspect did take time to eat an Otter Pop from the couple&#8217;s freezer before hiding in their bed.
