In this case, the student was shown what not to do and I&#8217;m sure that she won&#8217;t make the same mistake that her boyfriend did!<\/p>\n<div style=\u00e2\u20ac\u009ddisplay:block;float:left;padding:5px;\u00e2\u20ac\u009d><!--adsense#largesquare--><\/div>\n<p>An Alexandria man is now recovering after accidentally shooting himself. The accident happened as he was showing his girlfriend how to handle a pistol in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant.   I guess it&#8217;s lucky that he only shot himself in such a public area!<\/p><!--CusAds-->\n<p>The 21 year old man told police investigators that he forgot that he&#8217;d just reloaded his gun and he squeezed the trigger as he put the gun into the drivers door panel. The bullet went through his inner left thigh.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the man repeatedly told investigators he was ex-military and knows how to handle a gun, and was very embarrassed by the incident.<\/p>\n<!--CusAds--><p>I suppose this is just one of the reasons why the average citizen is not allowed to have a handgun here in Canada.
