This is one of my favorite Clematis. It’s called Daniel Deronda. it only flowers once a year – in the late spring or early summer, but oh, those blooms are gorgeous! I love their velvet like petals.

Growing Rhododendron
Rhododendron blooming in spring. I took this picture in the first year that we had the rhododendron. It’s grown much taller now, although it’s still not all that big a plant (maybe 3.5 feet tall). I love it’s pink flowers!
Nova Zembla Rhododendron
Yes, I know it’s winter – I just wanted to brighten up the place with some late spring flowers. This is Nova Zembla, a hardy Rhododendron. It brightens my garden each spring. So pretty.
For the Birds
This is my hummingbird feeder. Notice that it’s hanging on a Hummingbird hanger? LOL I love how this feeder looks when it’s filled with hummingbird nectar – the red color of the nectar compliments the copper. Lovely.
