This is a gorgeous plant that I grow in my small city garden. It’s called Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’. It’s a vibrant red with orange and flame yellow undertones. I find red flowers the hardest to photograph. If anyone has any tips for me I’d appreciate hearing them.
The CN Tower rises above some interesting condos near Harborfront in Toronto.
I wish I could have taken this picture from a slightly higher local as I would have been able to caputure a better view of the CN tower overlooking these condos and townhouses with my camera. I’ll have to scout out a better location if I’m in that area again.
I love how this small stream has captured the reflection of the surrounding flowering shrubs, grasses and trees. It’s as if the water were a mirror.
I love it when factors such as lighting and angle combine to help one compose the perfect picture.
This photo was taken with my new Nokia 6682 Multimedia Smartphone as we were driving through the country side. The blurring you see in the foreground is due to the car being in motion as the photo was taken. I like the effect, it looks almost like a hand painted water colour to me.
