I managed to capture this bumblebee while it was busy visiting one of my lovely Balloon flowers. We have a lot of Bumblebees in our garden, probably because we have such a large amount of flowering plants and we don’t use any chemicals in the garden.
The Hippos – the bus that’s not just a bus. It floats! Seen in Downtown Toronto, Yonge and Dundas. I’ve never been on this bus, but I’d like to try it some time. I wonder what water areas it visits.
Buildings at Dundas and Yonge, Toronto – I know it’s just big billboard type advertising, but I kind of like it. It’s so bright and flashy, especially at night it just seems to add character to the downtown area.

Behind the bar of the the Hard Rock Cafe, Dundas Square, Toronto
When I was a jeweler I used to work right beside this Hard Rock cafe. I’d love coming in to eat and to look at the display of guitars and other rock memorbilia. My husband is a musician and of course he’s even more interested than I in the guitars and other items.
