Driving on the highway between Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario Don’t you love the fall colors. Those red shrubs are Sumac. There’s quite a few of them along the highways in Southern Ontario.

Dianthus The Divine Flower
Photo of a Dianthus- also known as Garden Pinks and Sweet William. These are lovely flowers to grow in the garden border or in planted containers. I usually use them in containers myself and lucky for me, they often reseed themselves so I don’t have to buy more or replant them each spring.
Around the Bend
Heading towards the city of Hamilton, Ontario on HWY 403. A lovely Autumn day. Look at those wild flowers growing along the side of the highway. At least there’s something nice to look at as we drive.

Southern Ontario, Fall Colours I love the look of this meadow and the surrounding trees that are just beginning to change over to Autumn colors. Isn’t this a pretty sight?
