A close up of an Annual Salvia plants. Look at the petals and how they have fine tiny hairs along the edge. Sometimes you don’t see the true beauty of a plant until you get up close.

Pelargonium
Related to, and often mistakenly labeled Geranium. I use this plant in my planted containers and baskets each summer. They are great flowers to use in planters. I usually make them the center piece.
Thanks Giving Cactus
Ah the Thanksgiving Cactus. It only Flowers in November and oh what a stunner it is when it’s covered in flowers! It’s a rather plain plant when it’s not in flower, but when it’s in bloom it’s spectacular.
Phlox David
Lovely Phlox David. This plants begins to bloom in July and usually through August. If you cut off the old blooms it will often bloom again in September or October! I have these flowers growing right beside my patio where I can enjoy them best.
