Rhododendron bud – this is Nova Zembla, my only Rhododendron. It’s in my back garden and it’s lovely. I look forward to it blooming each year.

New Hosta Leaves
New Hosta – leaves … so green. It had just rained when I took this photo and I managed to capture some of the water droplets on the leaves. i don’t know what it is about wet flowers and leaves but I like them.

The Trillium
Gorgeous Maroon Trillium – Ontario’s provincial flower Of course this is a hybrid Trillium. Each year as it grows I get more flowers and they are larger than the year before. Trilliums can live for a long time … I wonder how big the flowers will be 10 years from now? 😉
Petals
Lovely White Petaled Tulip, Toronto, 2007 This is a gorgeous tulip. I like how some of the petals look like they are feathered. See the one in the top left – that’s what I mean. Beautiful.
