William Baffin rose.
I took this photo in my garden during a very light rain. The rose is called William Baffin – it’s a very hardy rose and mine happens to be more tree than shrub like as it’s approximately ten feet tall. It’s huge and at the time of the photo it’s first prolific flush of blooms was just ending.

Eatons Center, Toronto, Ontario – The ceiling in several areas is made of glass so a lot of light comes into this large shopping mall.
In early July parts of the city of Toronto shut down for street festivals.
This is Yonge street in downtown Toronto. It’s been claimed in the past to be the longest street in the world as it begins near Lake Ontario in Toronto, Ontario and ends in the province of Manitoba – more than 1178 miles or 1896 Km later.
On this July day I took advantage of the street being shut down and stood in the middle of the normally busy street to take my shot. This photo was taken with my Canon digital SLR EOS 30D.
This lovely delicate purple clematis jackmanii blossom was photographed two weeks ago in my backyard. I was wandering the garden in a light rain and saw the water droplets on this bloom and knew I had to take a photograph.
