The Toronto Skyline

I took this photo of the Toronto Skyline about a year ago while on a Toronto Dinner boat cruise. The sun was just starting to set behind the CN Tower and it was a beautiful sight.

As you can probably tell I applied a sepia effect to the photograph. I also experimented with some of the photos of the skyline in Black and white as well, but I think I like the sepia effect best, next to the natural full color shot of course.

Nice photo. I like the sepia – the black and white photographs tend to look a bit ‘Athena’ to me.

I’m not usually a fan of dead-centre subjects, but this is nice to look at ๐Ÿ™‚

This is a very nice skyline. I only have one criticism. In shots like this it is extremely important that the horizon be absolutely level. In this case, the CNN Tower appears to be leaning to the viewer’s left and looks like it will fall over at any moment. It is a distraction from the rest of the image, which deserves all the attention.
