I love this rose. It’s an antique rose – it begins with all of it’s petals whorled together tightly like a traditional antique rose, and then as the bloom ages it opens up and looks more like a classic Hybrid tea rose … oh but the scent … it’s lovely! It’s a true rose scent, that wafts in the air. Just heavenly.
Life at the beach along Lakeshore boulevard, Toronto
Photo taken while driving along Lakeshore. People were out jogging, rollerblading, and sailing on Lake Ontario. It was beautiful Spring day at the beach. I quite enjoy visiting this area of Toronto each Spring.

I love the architecture of the Terminal three building at Pearson Airport. I think it’s all the metal and the curved lines of the building that I enjoy the most.
Lovely Oriental Lilies with a gorgeous scent.
I grow a number of different types of lilies in my garden – tiger lilies, day lilies, hybrid lilies … but these are my only Oriental lilies. I love them!
