I believe this tulips name is Toronto, which is fitting since that’s where it’s growing.
Isn’t it just like a sunset? The shades of orange and yellow are so vivid.
Hyacinth – scented and lovely to behold
I love how the petals of this purple hyacinth actually appear blue with shades from mauve to pink in this photograph.
The scent of hyacinth’s is intoxicating and wafts through my house when the windows and doors are open. It’s lovely.

Spring Iris
Macro of an Iris – Photo taken Saturday, April 21, 2007Â Â This iris is called Danfordia. It’s a dwarf iris … but dwarf or not it’s colors are outstanding. I love it’s pale blue petals and yellow stamen.
