Garden Mums – grown in an urn on my front porch, Autumn 2006Â I just can’t get enough of these gorgous garden Mums.Â Such pretty multilayered flowers.

Monkshood

Monkshood, growing in my garden, Toronto, summer 2006

Monkshood is a lovely flower that blooms in the fall. It’s flowers kind of look like a shoe or a ladies slipper or I suppose like a monkshood. Hence the name. These plants are highly toxic so keep your pets and young children away from them if you grow this plant.

Rose Scentsation

A lovely hybrid tea rose – Scent_sation – that I grow in my Toronto gardenÂ It has lovely flowers when it blooms.Â Too bad it doesn’t bloom as often as I’d like it too!

Chionodoxa – delicate spring flowers

Chionodoxa – delicate spring flowers. Aren’t these so pretty? I grow these flowers in pink, blue and white. They pop up in clumps in my front and back garden beds in late May.
