Just a little flash back to summer. Ominous dark clouds over an otherwise perfectly summer like setting – Volley ball nets at the beach. I do like how the pink in the nets contrasts with the blue of the sky and the dark clouds.

A busy drive in traffic along Lakeshore Blvd in Toronto. This picture is from last spring … the leaves were just coming out on the trees and the grass was just starting to turn green. A lovely day all in all … except for the traffic!

It sure looked like this Jetski was coming right for us! Don’t worry, we weren’t on the water, we were on another part of the beach when this photo was taken.
I’m posting this photo today for my father. He died five years ago on December 8th, 2001. He loved Peonies.

This is a Karl Rosenfield peony – lovely all season long thanks to it’s lovely dark green foliage.
